Komado marshland is located around the peak of Komado-toge pass in Minamiaizu town. It surrounded by Japanese beeches at an altitude from 1000m to 1200m in the border area between Minamiaizu town and Showa village in Fukushima prefecture.
The marshland cuts off by snow for half a year, because it snows heavily and during winter it usually covered by over 3 meters of snow.

There are 5 important manners to protect the natural environment.
☆Please walk on the boardwalks. Do not step on or put anything such as a tripod on the marsh.
☆Please do not take any animals and plants home.
☆Please take trash home.
☆Please walk a one-way route at Oo-yachi.
☆Don’t bring pets.
